::Chloe's last day of preschool::

Today was Chloe's last day of preschool!!

Do you think she's changed at all this year??
first day (aww)

last day

They had a pool party to celebrate!!
(the pool pictures were taken with my phone cause I forgot my camera!! Not the greatest quality, but at least we have some pictures! Thank goodness for camera phones!)

They would only allow the preschoolers in the pool (safety reasons probably-it's understandable). The whole time Portie kept saying "I wish I could swim" Poor boy :(

::the dairy farm::

Yesterday we went on another field trip with Chloe's preschool class. We got to go to the dairy farm and learn all about milkin' cows.

the cows

the smell

automatic milking machines

milk storage vats

bottle for the babies

the babies

the kids got to pet one (and, yep, mine wouldn't go near it)

as close as she'd get to the babies (and it still smelled)

watchin' the cows come out of the milkin' barn

headin' over to the stalls

a big "tracteh"

he didn't want to come back in the barn (it really smelled!)

of course they had to wear their boots!!

cute little buddies :)
big thanks to Grandma Snowman for babysittin' Coopie so we could go on the field trip.

::a busy weekend::

We had a busy busy weekend!

First, Cousin Josh's wedding reception.....

We're so glad we were able to go. Josh and Whitney looked beautiful, and it was so fun to see all the family.

Then, a race...
The Susan G. Komen Race for the cure. We (Me. Mom, & Kevin) ran the 5K (just over 3 miles). It took us just over a half hour and it was so fun.

Later, a [dinosaur] birthday party

There were dinosaurs, cake, ice cream, lots of fun presents, and family. Thanks so much for all the fun toys, Portie loves them all!!

And then,
Mother's Day...
We did our annual "Mother's Day Brunch." But this year we went to the Grand America for lunch and had some extra guests...Grandma and Grandpa Asay, Carrie and her boys, the Aaneruds, Taryn and Brady, and Cal. We're so glad they could all come. It was fun to talk and catch up after a year of not seeing eachother!! We've gotta get together more often!

And finally...

...I got a mother's day gift! Chloe and Porter planted some gerber daisies in a pot for me (with a little help from Dad). Isn't it cute?
