New years eve was at our house this time. It was a small gathering, our family of 6, my parents, and Amberlee & George (we missed J and Sarah, Jennie, and of course Grandma & Papa Snowman)>
It was our first time to have our little party at our hosue, and I have to say, I kidna liked it! The kids were comfy in their own hosue with all their stuff (games, toys, and such), and in their jammies, AND if they got too tired, they could just go to bed! (None of them did, but they could have if they wanted to ;] )
We did our usual lots of food and games.
I set the kids up with some cookie decoraing. They LOVED it! (Bubb especially-no surprise there). It was a pretty messy operation, but they had fun, and ate a few, and it kept them busy.
Grandma played with the kids. Our living room was crazy messy. I swear just about every toy in the house was on the floor. But they love it. Grandma's so much more fun than I am :]
And that was about it! There were a few little firecrackers at midnight, but Ave and I watched from her bedroom window. It was pretty cold out.
As far as resolutions go...I just want to be better. President Hinckley's quote "try a little harder to be a little better" runs through my mind a lot. So that's mine.
And also do lots of home projects. I told Matt it's either these home projects or move. Haha!
