::love day::

We hope everyone had a happy Valentine's Day!! Here's what we did...
Chloe had a party at school on Friday-she got lots of candy and valentines from her friends, wore red and lots of hearts, sang valentines songs, and watched a valentines movie :)

On Saturday everybody came out to see their little valentines...
(sorry for the picture quality-I borrowed a camera, and I don't think I know how to use it)
From Matt, aren't they pretty??

...and then my parents took the kids to Discovery Gateway (kind of like The Science Place in TX) while Matt and I ate at Cheesecake Factory (yuuuuum!!).

Then we went to a movie that night. We don't go out alone together too often, so this was really fun, even if it was "dinner and a movie." :)
A big thanks to those who babysat-the kids had lots of fun, and so did the adults :)

What a fun V-day!! dinner and movie with your hubby is a GREAT date! (that's what we did too- hee hee!)
It's just fun to be alone for awhile and get to hold hands during the movie instead of sitting seats apart :)

that looked like a fun day. don't you love valentine's day?

people always say, "i don't care about v-day because i can show the people in my life that i love them every day of the year" but i think it's just fun to celebrate big once a year because we get caught up in life and don't always show our love like we think we do.

anyway, it looked fun! and dinner and a movie is so much fun when you don't get to do it that often.

Hey Amy!

here's my fave DSLR camera for about $550-$750. It is one of the top rated cameras for user friendly, for air tight, water tight camera body, and for photo quality.

It was rated one of the top 10 cameras for 2008 in Populart Photography.

Pentax K200D.

There is also a cheaper version
Pentax K100D.

Or a more expensive version
Pentax K20D or K10D

Canon and Nikon also make some great cameras, but you pay a little more for the name brand. So, for less money you get near equal quality.

I shoot with the K20D - It runs around $1600.00

Oh, my developing company is running a 1/2 off large prints sale. Go check out my photo blog, I've listed the prices there. Really great prices!

Yea! Glad you guys had a happy valentine's day! Once you have kids, any date is great...even dinner and a movie. I can't remember the last time Eric and I went on any kind of date.

Happy Valentines Day!! Looks like it was a good one! Glad you and Matt had some special time too. It's soooo important!
p.s. I LOVE Chloe's hair -- with the red ribbons!!! How did you do that?

so back to the tooth question... yes -it is normal for the permanent teeth to come in behind the baby teeth and they almost ALWAYS come in crooked... they straighten out as the others come in and with the lips and tongue naturally moving over them over time. When the permanents come in, it can look a little freaky because their tiny mouths are still so small for all these big teeth coming in so they may look less perfect than their cute little baby teeth (unless you're my cute little Bella who has super crooked baby teeth which we hope will have straighter permanent teeth- of course it had to happen to the dental peoples' child:) Also, permanent teeth are "ridgey" (if that makes sense) on the tops and are usually more yellow than the milky white baby teeth, so don't be alarmed if you notice those things too- ALL NORMAL!! Everything seems to work out in the end :)
