::Papa Guitar's visit::

On Sunday, Papa-with-the-guitar came for a visit...
...so we went here for brunch.

The next day, he came up to our house.

He helped pick out and plant some new flowers.

...and played with the kids.

We're glad you came, Papa. Come back and visit soon!

::t-ball::

Chloe played her first T-Ball game (ever!) yesterday...
she, of course, had this glove.

Matt's the coach

gettin' ready to bat

Portie
was sad to be sittin' on the side watching...
...so, he decided to take his chair out in the field in the middle of the game.

After the game, we got McDonald's and headed to the park.

We all played for a bit...
...then, Coopie, decided it was time to go.

It was fun watching her play. She (along with all the other kids on the team) didn't really know what to do (other than hit the ball and run), but it was fun to watch. They were all really cute little T-Ball players.

Thanks, Grandma & Papa Snowman, J, Sarah, and Jennie for coming to watch :) It made her feel special :)

these two are missing from the poppy pictures...
...so here they are. Aren't they cute?

::princess chloe::

The UPS man came today, and look what he brought...
...yep, it's the Disney Princess Wii game!!!

so we had to go right down to play it. It's pretty neat...she gets to pick out her own dress, and wave a magic wand.

does that look like a happy girl, or what??

On a side note...
Chloe is 1 week post op. She's doing pretty good. Today is by far her best day. She's had a rough week: hardly any appetite, sore throat all the time, swollen, lots of crying, lots of wishing she could go jump on the tramp and ride her bike, and lots of nasty medicine. But today she's finally starting to feel better, and we're hoping she feels even better tomorrow :)

::tonsillectomy & adenoidectomy::

After a visit to the pediatrician for her kindergarten check-up, we learned that Chloe isn't sleeping well because of these...
...her huge tonsils!

So she had to have them (and her adenoids) out.

She got them out yesterday (monday).

on the way down to the hospital (does she look nervous to you??)

we had to wait here for a bit.

tried to play

then back to the "pre" surgery area to put on a gown and open a couple of gifties from Grandma and Papa Kitty

we got some matching bracelets :)

gettin' the "party hat" on

getting ready to go-I was fighting back tears.
(I told her to give me a thumbs up, and this was what I got)

off she goes (now I could cry-and I did)

after about an hour (was that all it was?), she was all done

tried to give me a smile

She did pretty well. The dr. said she did great in surgery. She woke up from anesthesia really happy, but then really wanted to go home and cried a lot. She's had a sore throat and she's swollen, so she talks a little funny, but doing well for the most part.

We want to thank everyone for their love and support. Chloe has really enjoyed the get-well gifts, and especially the balloons :) We are so lucky to have such loving, supportive family and friends.

A special thanks to Grandma Snowman and Jennie for babysitting the two little boys and getting up so early! And a special thanks to Grandma and Papa Kitty for coming to the hospital to be with us during her surgery.
We love you all.
